My Story

For much of my career, I worked at the intersection of governance, education, and professional standards within the architectural profession. As Managing Director of Education at the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, and previously at the Ontario Association of Architects, I led initiatives that shaped how professionals are licensed, supported, and held accountable.

I drove work that mattered: regulatory frameworks, mandatory programs, equity standards, and conferences that demanded calm judgment and decisive action. Over more than 20 years, I learned how systems really change—not through declarations, but through alignment, clarity, and sustained engagement with people.

Today, I bring that experience directly to organizations and leaders who are ready to move from intention to implementation. I work with those who sense that what used to work no longer does, and who want a thoughtful partner to help design what comes next.

My work is grounded in collaboration, systems thinking, and a deep respect for the people inside the structures we ask to change. If you’re facing complexity, transition, or a moment that requires both rigor and humanity, I’d welcome a conversation.

Ellen and I have worked together for over a decade on multiple education and practice-focused initiatives, and her ability to bring structure and clarity to every project is unmatched.
