Crisis Management: Response to COVID19

Organization — Ontario Association of Architects (OAA)

Context & Risk — COVID-19 shutdown forced the cancellation of OAA Annual Conference, removing a key opportunity for 5,000 members to fulfill mandatory Continuing Education requirements.

Solution — Converted 53 conference sessions into online webinars in six weeks, laying the foundation for the OAA’s first scalable digital learning framework.

Outcome — Establishment of a new educational initiative with long-lasting strategic value:

  • OAA Continuing Education Webinar Series is the second most-visited page on the OAA website;

  • Built the OAA’s most successful educational product - 5,400 enrollments annually;

  • Sustained strong performance, currently generating $142K in annual revenue.
